Connors Drilling LLC, is active in Nevada and other western states. We have developed dual-purpose RC/Core Combination Drills that have proven efficient and highly effective for underground drill programs.

In addition to US operations, we are operating in Australia for major mining companies through our subsidiary company, CDU Drilling, based in Perth.

Connors Underground Dual-Purpose RC/Core Combination Drill features:

• The drills are mounted on 10 ton underground haul truck carriers.
  
• Drill dimensions, and working area requirements are:
  • Length: 28.5 ft to travel, 32.8 ft working
  • Width: 7.5 ft to travel, 13.1 ft working
  • Height 8.5 ft to travel, 13.1 ft working
    
• Drilling capacity of 3000 ft of NQ, and up to 900 ft of 4.5 inch RC.
  
• Drill powered by 100 hp (75kw) electric motor with onboard booster compressor powered by separate 75 hp (55 kw) electric motor.
  
• Electric motors require 480 volts in the USA, 1000 volts in Australia.
  
• RC drilling is conducted with either conventional hammers or center return hammers with sampling systems tailored to meet client requirements.
  
• RC drilling is performed either "wet" with water injection, or ‘dry’ with dust control measures. The "dry" drilling sample is wetted at the collection point for compliance with underground dust control measures. A "dry" sample collection system completely free of dust emissions is under development.
